Countryside? Countrystyle! - Outfit of the weekend - Rome & around

Location che vai, dettami di stile che trovi. Mi sembra chiaro.

E così, anche nel mio weekend appena trascorso nella campagna romana, in pieno tema “La Casa nella Prateria” non mi sono certo fatta cogliere impreparata!

Il perfetto outfit  per destreggiarsi con stile tra cavalli e pecore, covoni di paglia e pic nic in mezzo ai prati?

All’insegna del cuoio e del denim!

Per il pranzo in agriturismo del sabato, dovendo combinare la necessità di a) mantenere un look presentabile per il concorso ippico di Piazza di Siena del pomeriggio  e b) sopravvivere alla giornata di caldo torrido (che, causa pressione bassa, di solito mi rende leggiadra come un sacco di patate), ho optato per un classico intramontabile: Little black dress, in versione country.

In altre parole, prendi un vestitino nero qualsiasi (in questo caso, in sangallo), sdrammatizzalo con gilet jeans, cintura e ballerine in cuoio abbinate e sarai perfettamente a tuo agio sia in mezzo a un fienile che seduta sugli spalti di un concorso ippico!

Look decisamente più casual per il pic-nic della domenica, in total denim: shorts, camicia e canotta bianca (si vede quando la semplicità vince su tutto!).

Ah, e le intramontabili Stansmith ai piedi. Per saltare (sempre con la sovracitata leggiadria) in mezzo ai campi di fieno. 

E che non si dica poi che non sono bucolica!

And so, even during last weekend in the roman countryside, themed “Little House on the Prairie”, I didn’t have myself caught disorganized!

The perfect outfit to back and fill with style amont horses and sheeps, haycocks and picnics in the meadows?

Leather and denim, of course,

For saturday's lunch at the agritourism, has I had to combine the needs of a) keeping a proper look for the afternoon horse show at Piazza di Siena and b) surviving to the roasting hot (which, due to my low blood pressure, usually makes me agile like a potatoes' sack), I opted for a timeless classic: Little black Dress, country edition.

In other words, take any black dress (in this case in briderie anglaise),  downplay it with denim vest and matching leather belt and slippers, and you'll perfectly feel at your ease both inside a hayloft and seated on the bleachers watching a horse show!

Definitely a more casual look for sunday's picnic, in total denim: shorts, shirt and white t-shirt (you see when simplicity beats everything!).

Ah, and the timeless at my feet. To jump (always with the above mentioned agility) in the middle of hay fields.

And then don't say I'm not bucolic!
